I consider a real estate agent’s primary jobs to be problem solving and customer service. You want to purchase a home? That’s a problem. You want to sell your home? That’s a problem.

My job? Plow the way, help you fix that problem, and bring as much peace of mind to the process for you as possible.

My Story

I am a full-time, licensed real estate agent and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE)® who specializes in luxury homes, rural estates, and relocation to the Happy Valley area.

Prior to becoming a real estate agent, I was an award-winning network- and local-level television executive producer; TV news, weather, and public affairs host; and full-stack marketing expert with vested interests in newspaper, magazine, radio, TV, and emerging media marketing technologies.

I have a broad and deep understanding of the complex synergies and interrelationships of the traditional and emerging multimedia marketing universe, and I am uniquely qualified to market your home in the best ways possible and to get it sold as quickly, as efficiently, and for the highest price as possible.

Additionally, I am a successful restaurateur with a passion for customer-first service. For five years I owned and operated the highly-regarded Callao Cafe and Market—a crêperie and coffee house on West Aaron Drive in State College. We didn’t operate from the customer is always right perspective.  We operated from the always value the customer perspective, and I bring that same sensibility to the real estate industry. 

Since 1984, I have called Happy Valley home. Born in Washington, D.C., and reared in Northern Virginia, I hold two degrees from Penn State, where my wife, Elizabeth, and I have established two scholarships: one at the graduate level in theater stage management in the College of Arts and Architecture and one at the undergraduate level in meteorology in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences.

And our dogs, L and Nifty, are a rather ridiculous.
